Pirate band playing at Tynan on Friday

Just got this is my email, sounds pretty awesome. I don't recall hearing Tynan host any music before, this is a pretty cool idea. It would make a great venue and something nice to do from now on, if they choose to continue it. I hope so.

Anyway, here's the band's Facebook and an article about them from a Gettysburg paper.
Tynan Coffee and Tea will stay open late on Friday, December 2nd, to host the first-ever performance in DC by the Gettysburg Pirate Orchestra, South Central Pennsylvania's premiere land-locked brigand-themed quintet. (If you want a preview of the band, check out the album "Simon von Utrecht Presents..." on iTunes.) Show starts at 8 PM and there's no cover. Come on out for a cozy cup of joe and some cozier tunes.
Tynan is on Irving Street just west of 14th.

  1. Sounds like a solid and entertaining night. Not to do dualing promotions...but yeah, doing dualing promotions. Columbia Heights-based string band the Potomac Bombs will be playing, free of cover, at Big Bear Cafe in Bloomingdale on Friday from 8 till close. It's gonna be an epic evening. Check out the details on the Book of Face here:
