Georgia Avenue Fall Fest coming Oct. 22: music, food, vendors, kids' events, more! Volunteers needed!

Neighborhood festival time! The Georgia Avenue Fall Fest is coming to the Bruce Monroe Park on Oct. 22 with music, food, events, fund for kids and a lot more. And volunteers are needed too -- a nice way to help out and meet your neighbors!

Last year's Winter Fest by the same folks was a lot of fun, and this year's sounds great too. Check out more details from the organizers, Georgia Avenue Thrive:
Come join your neighbors at the Georgia Avenue Fall Fest! And spread through word by sharing our Facebook event! 
Enjoy local Food Vendors and other Georgia Ave businesses, Children arts & crafts and storytelling, Service provider info and volunteer opportunities, and Entertainment from members of our amazing community. 
Performances include salsa dancing, hip hop dance and demo, bilingual interactive theater, indie rock, and Afro-Caribbean steel pan youth band. Halloween pumpkins for sale too!
