The Pinch, the laid-back bar and restaurant at 3548 14th Street NW, from owner Daniel Maceda. Sounds like some good stuff. I've been a couple of times, the bartenders are nice folks and it's a fun spot with a lot of beer and food.

If anyone is looking for a place to watch football on Sundays, we now have the Sunday ticket... we have 3 tv's at the main bar available on a 1st come 1st serve basis, and are willing to open up the lounge bar with a big screen TV for groups reserving in advance...
We also now have the downstairs lounge bar up and running with a whole variety of activities- Monday is Improv 8-10pm, Wed is pub trivia 8-10pm, Thurs-Sat we have live entertainment... We are still looking for something for Tuesdays (possibly karaoke, or maybe a comedy night?).
