Columbia Heights students in a photo exhibition

This is taking place outside the neighborhood, but it sounds like a neat event and a great opportunity for some local students. Critical Exposure is a student photo exhibition with an advocacy component. Here's more, plus a Post article on the event:

Students from the Columbia Heights/Shaw Collaborative; Capital City Public Charter School; 826DC; and others who live in and around Columbia Heights will be there along with more than 200 guests from across the city to celebrate the students' achievements.
The event is being held at Hill Center at 921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, one block from the Eastern Market metro, tomorrow evening from 6-9pm. Their photographs and advocacy work will be on display for a reception with food, drinks, and student speeches.
Some of our students' photos were recently published on the Washington Post's website here: http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/therootdc/critical-exposure-provides-an-outlet-for-dc-students/2012/05/22/gIQATbQKiU_gallery.html
