Weather: Columbia Heights DC or Minnesota?

It's cold out there. Can you guess which of these weather reports is for Columbia Heights, DC and Columbia Heights, Minnesota? Remember that the wind chill here was at 5 degrees yesterday morning. The answer is at the bottom.

The answer: the 1st is DC and the 2nd is MN. Scarily, they're not too different: 50% chance of snow, similarly frigid temperatures. I'd rather our weather was a little less Minnesota-y around now.

  1. It's not that bad. Get over it.

And it's not "Minnesota" weather, don't try to claim that it is. It's like late fall Minnesota weather. It goes up and down all the time there throughout the winter, and right now it's UP compared to what it was earlier last week.

Until it gets below 0 and over 2 feet of snow there then don't even go there. Sorry.

  2. There's a big difference between 6 degrees and 26 degrees. Not similarly figid at all. Not even close. Fail.
