Nice event coming up tomorrow at CommonWealth: the University of the District of Columbia's David A. Clark School of Law does a project each year in New Orleans to volunteer legal services and to help rebuild homes.
They're having a fundraiser at CommonWealth Tuesday from 4:30 to 7, with donations ($5 suggested) going to the group and also deals on drinks: $4 premium rail drinks, 1/2 price domestic drafts & US Wine by the glass, and $2 off Special Cocktails, plus free appetizers (donated by the UDC Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild).
Sounds like a fun event for a good cause. There's a Facebook page for it as well.
