Last Sunday I stopped by Room 11 briefly for their Punch Club, where bartender Dan Searing mixes various kinds of alcoholic punch. I tried the glögg, which is Swedish mulled red wine. It had a more alcoholic bite and was sweet and delicious, with some herbs too. Good stuff. He also mixed a Rocky Mountain punch of sparkling wine, rum, and maraschino liqueur, but I didn't get a chance to try that one.
However, the event is now weekly -- it'll be every Sunday at 5 pm. Searing brought the event over from Warehouse, where he used to work before opening Room 11. I'll be there!
